Our entire privacy policy is in line with the General Data Protection Law and the Brazilian legal system, aiming to regulate, in a simple, transparent and objective way, which personal data and information are obtained and when they are used.

CESPU BRAZIL EDUCATION LTDA, is registered with the CNPJ: 35,587,697/0001-23, and is located at Estrada da Batalha, 1,200, Jaboatão dos Guararapes – PE.

APPLICATION OF PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy applies to any and all processing of personal data carried out by CESPU BRASIL EDUCAÇÃO LTDA relating to those who have a link to, use or seek the educational services provided by us.

WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?

This is data related to an individual that can be identified within a given context. Personal data may include your name, ID, CPF, telephone number or email address. Your data will only be accessed by qualified and authorized Cespu Brasil Educação staff.

CESPU BRASIL EDUCAÇÃO LTDA undertakes not to share, present or sell data relating to its users with third parties.

WHAT DO WE USE OR COLLECT YOUR DATA FOR?

  • For your admission selection process (entrance exam, transfer, ENEM) at CESPU;
  • Student enrollment procedure;
  • Registration for extension events;
  • Registration of diplomas and certificates;
  • Issue academic and financial statements; issue monthly payment slips;
  • Registration of student grant and student financing programs;
  • Updating registration data and social name registration.

LEGAL BASIS:

CESPU BRASIL EDUCAÇÃO LTDA, has legal authorization for any and all personal data processing activities it carries out, namely:

  • Non-sensitive personal data processed due to enrollment in an entrance exam and/or choice of postgraduate course (lato sensu and stricto sensu):  in these cases, the processing of personal data is authorized by article 7, item VI, of Law No. 13,709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD);
  • Sensitive personal data processed due to enrollment in an entrance exam and/or choice of postgraduate course (lato sensu and stricto sensu):  in these cases, the processing of personal data is authorized by article 11, items I and II, letter “a” of Law No. 13,709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD);
  • Non-sensitive personal data processed due to enrollment in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses (lato sensu and stricto sensu):  in these cases, the processing of personal data is authorized by article 7, items II and V, of Law No. 13,709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). The data is necessary for the perfect execution of the educational services provision contract and will be processed only for this specific purpose;
  • Sensitive personal data processed due to enrollment in undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses (lato sensu and stricto sensu):  in these cases, the processing of personal data is authorized by article 11, items I and II, letter “a” of Law No. 13,709/2018, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD). In addition to data whose processing is required by law, sensitive data is also necessary for the perfect execution of the educational services provision contract and for the security of the campuses and the people who use them, in which case this data will be processed with express consent, solely for the purposes mentioned here;

NOTE: If the student is a minor, their personal data requires the free, express and unequivocal consent of the father, mother or guardian, in compliance with the Civil Code, Federal Law No. 8,069/1990 (Child and Adolescent Statute) and article 14 and paragraphs of Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD).

HOW LONG CAN CESPU STORE YOUR DATA?

Your data will be stored, in accordance with Law No. 13,708/2018 (General Data Protection Law), for the period of one of the services described above or when we are obliged to store them for legal reasons. After this period, we will delete your data.

POSSIBILITIES OF CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

CESPU BRASIL EDUCAÇÃO may make changes to this Privacy Policy, within all legal parameters permitted. Changes made to this Privacy Policy will come into effect from the date of their publication on this official platform.

WHAT ARE MY RIGHTS AND HOW CAN I EXERCISE THEM?

With regard to the processing of personal data, CESPU BRASIL EDUCAÇÃO LTDA respects and guarantees the following rights to the holder of personal data:

  • Give your consent so that we can carry out any activity related to the contracted services for processing your personal data;
  • Ask whether the company is processing any of your data that you are not aware of;
  • Access all data being processed; Correct any and all data that is incorrect;
  • Request the anonymization, blocking or deletion of any unnecessary or excessive data that is being processed by anyone;
  • Request the deletion of all personal data processed by the company, even if you have previously given consent;
  • Receive information about the possibility of not providing consent and the consequences of this denial of permission;
  • Oppose the processing carried out based on one of the hypotheses of exemption from consent, in the event of non-compliance with the General Data Protection Law;
  • Request a review of a decision taken solely based on automated processing of personal data that affects your interests, including decisions intended to define your personal, professional, consumer and credit profile or aspects of your personality;

CAN I REMOVE MY CONSENT?

Yes, at any time you can revoke the consent previously granted, simply send an email to our Data Protection Officer, via email  privacidade@cespu.com.br

WHAT ARE COOKIES?
